VEGAS....again!!

Shortly after Riley and I got back from Augusta, Kyle and I headed to Vegas!  We found such a good deal that we couldn't pass it up.  The weather was great and we had such an amazing time.  Kyle took me to see three shows that he probably didn't care to see, but he was such a trooper!  All three shows were ones that will not be in Vegas by the time we go back again.

The first night we saw The Phantom of the Opera.  We had seen this show in London 6 years ago and thought it would be fun to see it in Vegas too.  It was a great show and since it is ending in September it was our last opportunity to see it.  Or so we think....right now there are not plans for Vegas before September...boo!  :)

The next night we went to see the Cirque show Viva Elvis.  This one is ending in August and I can't see why!  It was absolutely amazing!  I may be a little biased because I love gymnastics, dancing, and cheerleading!  As we were watching it I thought to myself, "Kyle must be hating this!"  But much to my surprise when we were leaving I told him I really liked it and his said, "Yeah, that was really good!"  SUCCESS!!

And the third night we went to see Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas!!  I do have to say I am pretty sure he hated this show, but I on the other hand LOVED it!!  I believe it is only there until July, but if you are going to be in Vegas before then I recommend it.  It is pretty inexpensive and totally worth it if you like the show!

Oh and of course Kyle played some poker and I spent some time at the pool!  Here are a some pictures from our 8th trip to Vegas:

Augusta

In the last post I talked about how I took Riley on his 1st airplane ride.  You may be wondering where we went......I took him to see his favorite Aunt!!  We went to Augusta to visit Colt, Amber, and Jason!  We hadn't seen them since November....5 long months!!  I wish I had a money tree so we could go see them every month!! :)

Since these two little boys don't get to spend much time together I have more pictures than you can even imagine!  They had a lot of fun, but they also had their moments....I mean, they are only 2!

ENJOY!!  Who knows when we will have more pictures of these cute boys together!!  :)

Riley's 1st Trip on an Airplane!

In April, I took Riley on his first trip on an airplane!  I had been thinking about doing this since last fall and finally talked myself into traveling that far with him by myself.  I am not sure why I was so worried because I know he is such a good boy.  He had so much fun seeing the airport and riding on the plane.  We even had to switch planes and ride the train in the Atlanta airport!  He got to ride on a big plane and a little plane....and he loved that!  Since Daddy didn't get to go with, I took lots of pictures!

Must be a little chilly!

Riley had to put his coat on to go outside this time and he thought the dogs needed their coats too.  We have coats for the dogs, but they never wear them.  I thought it was so funny when he insisted that they needed to wear theirs too!

Such a silly little boy!

My little Fireman/Cook

I might be really spoiled, but my son LOVES to play on his own.  He does have times when he wants us to play cars with him or jump on the trampoline with him (yes, this does happen!), but sometimes he will go off to another room and play by himself.  Sometimes thinking about a 2 year old playing in another room by himself might immediately make you think....TROUBLE!  And sometimes.....you're right!  But most times he is just having a great time!  This particular day I couldn't help by smile when I found him doing this.....

I JUST LOVE THIS LITTLE MAN!!

St. Patrick's Day

Just thought I would post a picture of Riley and I on St. Patrick's Day.  Another homemade shirt from Mommy!  I am not real creative....but I try!

All I could do was laugh....

With the weather getting nicer out, I am finding it is even more difficult to get work done inside the house.  Riley loves to be outside so on laundry days it can be hard to get anything done.  Once we are outside....he doesn't want to come back in!  One day we were out on the driveway drawing with some chalk.  I convinced him to go inside to change his trainer, but he wanted to take the chalk in.....ok fine, we are going to change the diaper and come right back out!  Riigght. After I changed the trainer, I remembered I needed to change the laundry too, but forgot he had the chalk. I came back to the kitchen when we were going to head back outside and this is what I found......

All I could do was laugh!  Of course I tried to be a good mom and tell him he should not color with chalk in the house.....but how could I blame him?!?  I DID let him have the chalk in the house!  :)
